The video provides an update on the trip builder, explaining the simplification and streamlining of the process by removing the distinction between tailor-made and catalog trips.

We’ve streamlined the Trip Builder by removing the “Trip Type” selection (Tailor-Made vs. Catalog).

Previously, you had to choose:

  • Tailor-Made → trip linked to a specific clients.

  • Catalog → trip with open registration.

This step has now been fully removed.

Why we removed it

In practice, the distinction was only based on one thing: Is there a main client assigned to the trip or not?

Since this is already defined in the Client field, the extra step was redundant.

What it means for you

  • No more decision at the start → faster trip creation

  • Cleaner workflow → one less step to manage

  • Full flexibility remains:

    • Assign a client → acts as Tailor-Made

    • Leave client empty → acts as Catalog / open trip
